A is for April.

Easter themed chocolate brownies, drizzled with milk chocolate and topped with speckled eggs. Food typography for my ATE 2020 recipe calendar.

INGREDIENTS

Butter 125g, melted
Castor Sugar 300g
Cocoa Powder 50g
Eggs 3 large
Cake Flour ½ cup
Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
Dark Chocolate 80g
Milk Chocolate 80g
Speckled Chocolate Eggs 125g

METHOD

Mix melted butter, castor sugar and cocoa powder until gooey. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Sift and fold in flour and baking powder. Chop up the dark chocolate and mix in well. Place in lined baking dish, approximately 20cm x 26cm.

Bake at 150°C for 40 minutes.

Once cool, drizzle with melted milk chocolate and top generously with speckled chocolate eggs.
