Apple Pudding

Hot and Sticky Apple Pudding.

Soft, moist and delicious, especially when served warm with a cup of tea.

INGREDIENTS

Butter 250g
Sugar 1 cup
Eggs 4 large
Self-Raising Flour 1 cup
Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
Tinned Apples 1 large tin

Cream 250ml
Sugar 1 cup
Vanilla Essence 1 teaspoon

METHOD

Cream butter and sugar, adding eggs one at a time until the mixture is light and fluffy. Sift in the flour and baking powder and mix well. Place into two buttered pie dishes and top with tinned apples.

Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.

Bring cream, sugar and vanilla essence to the boil. Once the cake is baked take out of the oven and prick with a fork, then spoon syrup generously over the top.

Place back in the oven for 7 to 10 minutes.
