Almond Shortbread Balls.

A delicious tea time treat that only uses four ingredients. Baked with Natura Sugars Demerara Icing Sugar.

INGREDIENTS

Butter 250g 
Natura Sugars Demerara Icing Sugar 100g & extra for dusting
Almonds 100g
Cake Flour 375g

METHOD

Place softened butter and Natura Sugars Demerara Icing Sugar in a bowl and beat until pale and creamy. Add the chopped almonds and sift in the flour and mix until it has just combined into a dough. Roll out teaspoons (approximately 30g) of the mixture into balls and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake at 180˚C for 15 to 20 minutes.

Allow to cool for 5 minutes then dust well with icing sugar.
